Simultaneous explosion of US and French bases in October 1983

On October 23, 1983, two US and French military bases were simultaneously exploded in Beirut, Lebanon and left 299 dead behind. The US base was close to Beirut Airport and due to collapse of the building 241 soldiers were killed. Two minutes after that incident a similar explosion occurred in the base of the dispatched French soldiers in other part of Beirut which led to the death of 58. Later on, Mohsen Rafighdoust, one of the most famous elements of the Iranian regime and head of the predatory foundation of 'Foundation of Mostazaafan' said: 'Those explosive materials were mixed with that ideology and sent 400 officers, noncommissioned officers and soldiers to the hell at once in the Marines base. Both the T.N.T. and the ideology had come from Iran; this is well tangible for the United States, and that is why it is prostrated in the Persian Gulf.”
