Prominent Iraqi figure criticizes Talibani over no-confidence vote
Criticizing Talibani’s stance, Mohammad al-sheikhly, head of National Center for Justice, told WBBC: Talibani regretfully was not obliged to his oath in the constitution, since he received 173 signatures, but in his statement he claimed that 11 took back their signatures and 2 suspended theirs.
This was an opportunity given to Maliki by Talibani to be able to pressure those representatives in favor of no-confidence vote.
Talibani also made an opportunity for the Iranian regime to meddle and call some of the leaders demanding vote of no-confidence to Iran.
