Mohammed bin Salman discussed with Trump the ban imposed on 6 Arab countries from entering the US. He pointed out that Saudi Arabia did not see it as an action taken against Islamic countries or Islam; it is rather a decision banning terrorists from getting into the US.

He stressed that Saudi Arabia has indeed information stating that there is a terrorist plot against the US. The operation is being planned in these 6 countries secretly. The prince expressed his support and understanding for this important and urgent precautionary measure.

The two men agreed that it is imperative to stop the Iranian interference in the region. The current US administration has also hailed the Saudi position towards this issue at the time of the previous administration.

The US president praised the previous and current steps taken by Saudi Arabia regarding the Iranian activities in the region and its interference in the internal affairs of the countries of the region.

Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has also confirmed that the nuclear deal is lethal and very dangerous for the region. It was shocking because it would give more time for the radical Iranian regime in order to go on with its nuclear weapon plans. This would be a trigger for the countries of the region to get armed because no one will tolerate Iran’s nuclear military power.

As for terrorism in the region, both sides agreed that the recruitment campaigns undertaken by some terrorist groups in Saudi Arabia against Saudi citizens, aim at legalizing these groups because they consider that Saudi Arabia is the unrivaled leader in the Islamic world.

The meeting has also dealt with the economic strategic partnership between the two countries. It stressed on the cooperation and the importance of creating new opportunities in this field.

They also discussed the launch of large Saudi investments in the United States and allowing US companies from widely and boldly entering the Saudi market.

The US administration confirmed its commitment and support to promote the Kingdom’s efforts and commitment while providing all what is needed.

During the meeting, President Donald Trump has tossed a sarcastic comment, pointing his finger to the media crew and saying “they are good people”, the prince replied “we hope so”.
